A truly fine example of what Australian publishing can produce, saw first-light in the last few weeks.

Great Ocean Quarterly
Great Ocean Quarterly

Our copy of Great Ocean Quarterly was awaited with considerable anticipation [caveat – we know some of those involved]. It arrived recently.

Members of my family have that close, often jealousy-viewed-by-others connection with the sea.

The Great Ocean Quarterly promised…

a collection of the most interesting, stirring, informative and beautiful work from along our coasts.

This was enough for us to subscribe, sight-unseen.

The launch edition of this innovative and ethereally exacting journal delivered on the promise..Interesting?  most definitely, informative? for sure.. beautiful and stirring ? Well, many promise, few deliver.

The Great Ocean Quarterly is beautifully stirring.

The foundation subscription rates proved to be spectacular value for money.  I have my Christmas presents all worked out!

The quality and attention to detail in such a new magazine, for such a group of writers, publishers and generally the sea-going, is nothing short of world-class. The dimensions, layout and use of quality stock sets a nice benchmark and raises expectations for subscribers.

The heart of the publication, its content, stories, art-work, yes even the advertising,  resonates with quality and coherence that is refreshing.

Outstanding.

Congratulations to all involved.
